This is a purely instrumental track, recorded in multiple layers. The interesting sounds during the track and at the end were made by inserting a lit match into a microwave oven (don't try it at home).
For those interested in music theory, the chordal structure makes heavy use of 4th's rather than 3rd's, giving the harmony an "open string" feel. Tension is created by moving back and forth between the Dorian (sharp) 6th and the Aeolian (flat) 6th in the home chord of B minor.
